Campbell River, Stuart Island, Sonora Island, Bute Inlet, and near Johnstone Strait and
Discovery Passage in beautiful British Columbia.
Located on tiny Dent Island is Dent Island Lodge, a superb BC salmon fishing and vacation
resort offering luxury lodge accommodations and corporate retreat, fine gourmet dining, a
protected marina with 800 feet of dock for yachts of up to 140 feet (15, 30 & 50 amp
power), guided fishing charters, and a superb Canadian yachting destination.
The area offers saltwater and freshwater fishing for salmon, trout and steelhead,
sightseeing, bird watching, sea kayaking, and hiking into the most spectacular BC coastal
wilderness you can imagine. Local tidal currents, and the whirlpools and rapids they
create are fascinating to watch.
Location: Dent Island lies about 100 miles north of Vancouver, and 30 miles northeast of Campbell River, just a few minutes west of Big Bay,
off the coast of central Vancouver Island. The resort operators are happy to assist with
seaplane travel arrangements from Vancouver, Seattle or Campbell River direct to the Dent
Island Lodge. Guests flying into Campbell River Airport will need advance water taxi
bookings.
